Charged with Harassment - for protesting my innocence.

I couldn't believe it. The CPS had just made a press statement saying that I was charged with harassment. It was all over the news. All over the national press websites.

It was a disaster.

I only found out 10 minutes ago from my own lawyers, and didn't have time to tell anyone or refute the allegations.

What are my girlfriend's parents going to think about all this?

Shit.

The CPS Press Release states:

Alexander Economou charged with harassment

A CPS spokesperson said:

“The CPS has today charged Alexander Economou with harassment of David de Freitas.

“Mr Economou will appear before Westminster Magistrates on 11 January 2016. After carefully considering all of the evidence the CPS has decided that there is sufficient evidence for a realistic prospect of conviction and it is in the public interest to charge Mr Economou. It is extremely important that there should be no reporting, commentary or sharing of information online which could in any way prejudice these proceedings."
